STARS Auditions

Auditions for our spring production of Godspell Jr. are now open! We’re looking for a stellar group of 13 young ladies to comprise the principal cast and about 6 or 7 additional young ladies to create an ensemble for this show. This will be an all female cast, aged 7-18, delivering a powerful and poignant portrayal of the life and teachings of Jesus as told in the book of Matthew! Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, and Sundays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm starting Monday, January 27th. Mandatory tech and dress rehearsals will begin Saturday, March 8th until Wednesday, March 12th, and performances are March 13th – 16th. An overall rehearsal and performance calendar is below.

Auditions can be submitted by filling out the form below. Please fill out the audition form completely, attach a headshot and resume, and submit an audition video consisting of 1) a brief introduction of who you are – include name and age, 2) a 15-30 second memorized monologue, and 3) a 1 minute selection or 16-32 bar cut of an upbeat musical theatre song.
***After submitting, you should receive an email confirmation. If you do not, your audition may not have submitted successfully. Feel free to reach out and confirm we’ve received your submission!***

Your video audition should be uploaded to YouTube as an UNLISTED link, and NOT a private link to make sure that we will be the only folks viewing your student’s audition video. The link for this audition video will then be shared in the audition form. For more information on YouTube videos, see below.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, November 10th and callbacks will be held the following week on Sunday, November 17th. Casting will be announced to all auditionees on Friday, November 22nd.
