Schoolhouse Rock Live! Auditions

Auditions for our spring production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! are NOW OPEN. This production is a full length musical written for adult actors, and is being modified by our VST team to elevate and showcase our STARS performers like never before! We are looking for dynamic young performers aged 7 – 18 to create an ensemble cast of 20-25 students to join our one adult actor leading this production.  Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, and Sundays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm starting Sunday, February 25th. Parent meeting will be Wednesday, February 21st, and mandatory tech and dress rehearsals will be April 6th – 10th. We are also planning to host school performances in addition to public performances. Final dates/times of school performances will be announced at the time of casting, but Thursdays, April 11th & 18th and Fridays, April 12th and 19th are potential school performance dates.

Thursday, April 11th – 7:30pm
Friday, April 12th – 7:30pm
Saturday, April 13th – 7:30pm
Sunday, April 14th – 2:30pm

Thursday, April 18th – 7:30pm
Friday, April 19th – 7:30pm
Saturday, April 20th – 7:30pm
Sunday, April 21st – 2:30pm

Auditions can be submitted by filling out the form here. Please fill out the audition form below completely, attach a headshot and resume, and submit an audition video consisting of 1) a brief introduction of who you are – include name and age, 2) 16-32 bar cut of a song from the Schoolhouse Rock cannon, or something similar in style.

Your video audition should be uploaded to YouTube as an UNLISTED link, and NOT a private link to make sure that we will be the only folks viewing your student’s audition video. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, January 7th and in-person callbacks will be held on Sunday, January 21st. Casting will be announced to all auditionees on Friday, January 26th.

Student tuition for this production is $300. Sibling discounts and scholarships are available – more information by request.
